1. Accountability
Mehul Shah, Broker, of Newgen Realty Experts Inc., Brokerage is responsible for personal information collected through this website and serves as the privacy contact. Questions, access requests or complaints may be sent to RealEstateWithMehul@yahoo.com, by phone at 416-543-1080, or by mail to EXO, 4023 The Exchange, Suite 308, Mississauga, Ontario.
2. Information collected
Information you choose to provide through forms or the website assistant may include your name, email address, phone number, property address, preferred areas, price range, property details, mortgage or down-payment information, timing, appointment details, questions, communication preferences and consent choices.
Basic technical information may also be processed to operate and protect the website, such as IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps and security or error logs. The site may store a language preference and essential session information in your browser. Please do not submit highly sensitive information, banking credentials or identification documents through general website forms or chat.
3. Purposes
Personal information is collected only for identified and reasonable purposes: responding to a form or website-assistant request; providing buyer, seller, investor, pre-construction, property-search, neighbourhood-report, guide, appointment or home-value services; understanding your stated real-estate needs; maintaining service and consent records; protecting the website; meeting legal, regulatory and professional obligations; and sending marketing only when you have separately agreed to receive it.
4. Consent and your choices
Submitting a service request authorizes contact reasonably necessary to answer that request. Optional marketing consent is separate and is not required to receive a requested service. You may withdraw consent for future use where permitted, although withdrawal may limit the ability to provide a requested service and does not affect permitted uses already completed.
5. Sharing and service providers
Information is not sold or rented. It may be shared only as reasonably necessary with the brokerage; website hosting, database, security, email-delivery, appointment-calendar or technology providers; professionals you ask to involve; or government, regulatory, law-enforcement or legal authorities where required or permitted by law.
Service providers are expected to use information only for the services they provide and to apply appropriate safeguards. Some providers may process or store information outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws and lawful-access requirements of another jurisdiction.
6. Retention and disposal
Personal information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the identified purpose, an ongoing client or prospective-client relationship, dispute resolution, security, and applicable legal, regulatory or brokerage record-keeping requirements. When no longer required, information is deleted, anonymized or securely disposed of using methods appropriate to its sensitivity.
7. Safeguards
Reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards are used according to the sensitivity of the information. These may include restricted owner access, access controls, encrypted transmission, service-provider safeguards, monitoring and backups. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure. Suspected privacy incidents will be assessed, documented and reported or notified where Canadian law requires.
8. Access, correction and deletion
You may ask whether personal information about you is held, request access to it, ask how it has been used or disclosed, and request correction of inaccurate information. You may also request deletion where retention is not legally or professionally required. Identity may need to be verified before a request is completed. Access may be limited where an exception under applicable law applies, and reasons will be provided where required.
9. Email and Canadian anti-spam rules
Service emails—such as a response, appointment information or a requested guide—are sent to complete the action you requested. Promotional emails are sent only where there is valid consent or another lawful basis. Marketing messages will identify the sender and provide an unsubscribe method. An unsubscribe request will be honoured as required by Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
10. Cookies and browser storage
This website may use essential browser storage or similar technology to remember a preference, maintain requested functionality, protect forms and support reliable operation. The current website does not intentionally use advertising cookies or sell information collected through cookies. Your browser can block or delete stored data, although doing so may reset preferences or affect some website functions. If analytics, advertising or additional tracking tools are introduced, this notice and any required consent choices will be updated before those tools are used.
11. External services and links
YouTube video players load only after you select “Watch recent videos.” Loading a player connects your browser to YouTube/Google and shares technical information such as your IP address and device information. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed domain; YouTube’s own privacy policy and terms apply to playback and interactions.
Links to REALTOR.ca, Google, RankMyAgent, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and other external services are governed by those organizations’ own terms and privacy practices. Selecting an external link takes you away from this website. To limit automated abuse, temporary hashed network identifiers and request counts may be kept for up to one hour; platform security logs are governed by the hosting provider.
12. Children and changes to this notice
This website is intended for adults seeking real-estate services and is not directed to children. This notice may be updated when services, providers or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are made.
